Egress Window Installation

Client: Mrs. Elizabeth

Our contracting company recently completed a project for Mrs. Elizabeth, who was looking to install an egress window in her basement. The project involved several key steps to ensure a successful outcome.

First, our team saw cut an opening in the concrete wall to create space for the egress window. Next, we framed out the opening with pressure treated lumber to provide support for the window and ensure a proper fit. Once the framing was complete, we installed the window itself, along with molding to create a clean, finished look.

To address the slope of the property, a retaining wall was needed to hold back the soil and prevent erosion. We installed a concrete footing and cylinder block wall to create the necessary structure and stability for the retaining wall.

Throughout the project, we worked closely with Mrs. Elizabeth to ensure that her vision for the space was achieved. We also took great care to minimize disruption to her daily routine and ensure that the work area was kept clean and safe.

Overall, the project was a success, and Mrs. Elizabeth was thrilled with the outcome. We are proud to have helped her transform her basement into a more functional, attractive, and safe space.
